CHARSADDA: All Parties’ Conference (APC) on Saturday rejected new delimitation and threatened to stage protests outside the Provincial Assembly premises.
The conference was attended by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Babar Khan Umarzai, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Arif Ahmadzai, Amir Nawaz Khan of Pakistan People’s Party, Awami National Party’s Tahseen Abdullah, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Muhammad Riaz Khan and others.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that number of constituencies in Charsadda in 1985 was five which later increased to six. “The KP government decreased number of constituencies from six to five in 2018,” said Muhammad Riaz Khan. He added that such move was regrettable and would not be tolerated.
