TOBA TEK SINGH: Kamalia city police booked a man who refused to administer anti-polio drops to his children and threatened the anti-polio team of dire consequences.
The police registered a case against accused Najeebullah of Bhaloolwala, Kamalia for refusing to administer anti-polio drops to his children.
When Assistant Commissioner Hafiz Muhammad Najeeb contacted the accused, he confessed to prevent the anti-polio team from giving drops to his children.
Meanwhile, motorcycle rickshaw driver Tariq Mahmood was arrested at Gojra when he restrained anti-polio team member Kamran Nisar from administering anti-polio drops to children who were travelling in his rickshaw.
On the report of Gojra Deputy District Officer (Health) Dr Asghar Sheikh, the police arrested the accused. Later, he was released when Kamran forgave him.
