PESHAWAR: A US-led drone strike in Tal area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Hangu district killed at least five persons and injured four others early on Thursday, DawnNews reported.
The drone fired missiles targeting a seminary in Tehsil Tal, according to the report.
Those wounded included students of the seminary whereas the identities of the deceased could not be ascertained.
Drones continued to hover above the area after the incident, locals reported.
The attack comes a day after the Pakistani Prime Minister's Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz said while briefing the Senate Committee that the United States had assured Pakistan of not conducting drone strike targeting the leaders of TTP if dialogue began between the two (Taliban and Pakistan government).
