16 GB Google Nexus 5 Finally Available at LG India Stores at Rs 29,999

The most awaited LG made Nexus 5 phablet which is powered by Google's softwares has finally showed its presence in India. According to ibnlive, the 16 GB variant of the handset has already landed in LG India stores and are currently available in India at Rs. 29,999. While the same handset is being sold on Snapdeal for Rs 28,999.

Regarding the 32GB variant of the phablet, the Mumbai based mobile phone retailer told the same site that it would be available within the last week on November or early December. On the other hand, the Google Play Store still has the handset listed under coming soon banner.

Going into the details of the handset, the Nexus 5 phablet comes with a 4.95-inch display offering a FHD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and pixel density of 445ppi. On top of that, it is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Powering the handset is a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad core processor clocked to 2.3 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU tuned to 450MHz. Apart from that there is also a presence of a 2GB RAM in the device. Most interesting part of the device is that it runs on the latest iteration Android 4.4 KitKat.

Moving on to the imaging technology, it features an amazing 8 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization feature hardly found in 8MP camera. The phone is also loaded with 1.3 megapixel front facing shooter.

In terms of connectivity, the handset features a Dual-band WiFi (24G/5G), 3G/4G LTE and NFC (Android Beam), Wireless charging and houses a 16GB of internal storage capacity.

The device that measures 69.17x137.84x8.59 mm and weighs 130 grams draws its energy from a 2300mAh battery. The company claims that the battery will offer up to 17 hours of talktime and Standby time of up to 300 hours.

When it comes to competition, both the iPhone 5s and 5C are bound to stand against the Nexus 5. Moreover, domestic manufacturers like Micromax and Karbonn will also be facing a bit of a threat from the handset. To be precise, devices like Titanium S9, Micromax Canvas Turbo will be badly affected.
