LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said that Punjab govt has taken effective measures for the promotion of swimming in the province. “The 4-week swimming training and coaching camp for beginners at State of the Art Punjab International Swimming Complex is also a part of Sports Board Punjab’s exceptional efforts,” he said this in a statement on Saturday.
Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said Sports Board Punjab’s 4-week swimming training and coaching camp for beginners is a very useful activity. “This type of high-profile swimming camps will prove to be very helpful in producing national and international champions,” he added. He said that expert coaches will impart vital training to talented youngsters at the camp. “Punjab govt established a world class State of the Art Punjab International Swimming Complex with a hefty amount so that Pakistan swimmers can take world class training and earn laurels for the country in swimming which is one the most popular sport of the world,” he added. Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada urged the young swimmers of 5 to 16 years age to join this month-long camp scheduled to start from April 16, 2018 at Punjab International Swimming Complex. “The camp will remain continue till May 15, 2018.
